Wan and Sora differ first in access. Official Wan2.1 and Wan2.2 repositories publish open model resources, and this independent site exposes selected Wan endpoints through a credit-based generator. Sora is an OpenAI product accessed through OpenAI-supported surfaces and is not currently a selectable model in WanVideoFree.

No. The generator only offers entries in its server-owned catalog, and Sora is not one of them. Use an official OpenAI surface for Sora access.
Is Wan open source?
Some official versions are open-weight: Wan2.1 and Wan2.2 have public repositories. That does not automatically make every later hosted Wan version open source.
